In keeping with its original concept of No. 1 performance on the circuit, for 2004, the concept of the Ninja ZX-6RR diverges from that of the street-use 6R, becoming even more race-oriented than before. A series of engine and chassis upgrades significantly enhance this lime green racer's winning potential.

I think there are other advantages to the Guzzi layout then cylinder cooling and I would love to see a water cooled transverse-V motor. To me it's a big part of the appeal. The impact on handling as well as the look. Water cooling is coming. It would be hard to avoid. Even Harley has a water cooled bike(two if you count the new Buell). I say bring it on. More power good. And incorperating the trans into the engine to shorten the length of the drive train would be a huge step forward. I would love it. Not holding my breath on any of this though.

Here is a brief description from Yamaha Japan:"Think of the TMAX as a sports bike that looks like a scooter. The frame, suspension and engine are pure motorcycle. And with a cruising speed of 160 km/h and sports bike handling qualities, this is one high-performing roller. No unit swingarms or other scooter orthodoxy on this hot-rod. The new TMAX runs fuel injection and higher compression for improved driveability in the low and medium rpm ranges. The suspension has also been upgraded for improved ride quality. • High-tensile-steel Diamond Frame • Liquid-cooled DOHC 4-valve Parallel Twin Engine • FI • 498cm3 • Radial Tyres • Dual Front Disc Brakes"Here is a great video of the bike running a short course with the TMax:
The Yamaha TMax is the flagship of the their scooter line. Essentially if offers performance over efficiency. For the record most of the big scooters have a similar sport touring look to them but I don't see it being a clone of the Majesty. Some of the differences from the Majesty are a larger twin motor vs. a single, dual disc brakes, mc like suspension, frame mounted motor are a few of the details. This TMax is Yamaha's equivalent of the Honda SilverWing and Burgman 650 for sophistication. If you want a new design from Yamaha you will have to wait a while for the 250 sport Majesty:
